About MacTech Gear

Built for the crossing

One 40L waterproof duffle — built so your kit stays dry when the weather turns and the miles add up.

Where it started

The founder served with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in the Canadian Armed Forces. In the field, dry kit meant lining a ruck with garbage bags. Water still got in. The pack got heavier — and you never knew if your clothes were actually dry.

The bag

MacTech is the answer to that. Inflate it to cross a lake and swim easier, almost like a buoy. Deflate it to pack tight when every inch of space counts. Airtight and sealed — whether you are swimming, in a canoe, or on the trail, the load stays dry.

In use

Used in real conditions — rain, cold, and on the water. Lake crossings, canoe and boat, river trails where one person works down from the top while someone waits at the bottom. Over rocks, through branches, down slopes. Built for more than rain.

For anyone who can't afford wet kit. Designed in Canada.
